Look Who's Walkin'...

And how could I forget to do a post of this?! She took her first stumbling steps for the babysitter during the Kentucky Derby party and has come so far since. This was taken just this morning.

Here is a quick clip of Addison swimming! For those of you who don't know, she was petrified of getting her face wet a few weeks ago. Thanks to only three 10 minute ISR swim lessons, she loves it. Yeah Addie!!

Haylee Birthday Part II

Not only did Addison love the water... so did Haylee! Winter Haven Gramma brought over some noodles and Haylee loved using that to help her make her way around the pool.

And of course, what party is complete without opening presents? Haylee was so sweet to let Addison 'help' her open a present or two or three!!



Brianna couldn't help but dig in to some chocolate cake herself!! Yummmmm....

Happy Birthday Haylee!

We had a very busy weekend celebrating Haylee's birthday. Friday night Winter Haven Gramma and Papa came over to see Addison sing in her Spring Concert! I don't have a good picture of her singing but we did manage to capture this cute one of Brianna....

Addison did a great job and mommy even won a drawing that got me a $100 tuition reimbursment! Yeah me!!

Saturday morning Addison and I headed over to Chuck E Cheese for Haylee's birthday party with her classmates. Addison was NOT a fan of 'the mouse' as she called him but gradually she warmed up to playing some games. This picture was taken about 5 minutes before we left...


Haylee, on the other hand, loved 'the mouse' and had a great time eating pizza and singing songs with Chucky E Cheese.


After the Chuck E Cheese party we headed back to La Casa de Irish for a pool party and cookout with the family. Addison could not get enough of the water. She has been taking swim lessons and has done a complete 180 from not wanting to get her face wet to begging to swim all around the pool. Its' great, we are so happy she enjoys it now!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Belated Mothers Day to all you mom's out there! I had a nice relaxing weekend with my family lounging by the pool... starting to like the perks of the new house even more as the weather gets better! Addison is in school this year and made me a plate. I tried to fight back the tears when she gave it to me but I just couldn't do it. I never thought I would shed tears of happiness when someone gave me a plate covered in marker but there have been alot of things I never thought I would do before I became a mom. Here is a picture of the masterpiece...

Brianna's Party

I decided when Addison turned one that a baby's first birthday was meant to celebrate Mommy's survival of the first year rather than baby's. However, Brianna's first year seemed to go by a lot quicker and with fewer bumps, that's for sure! She was a good girl at her 12 month checkup where she weighed in at 25 lbs. She is in the 95th percentile for height, weight, and head size! Doctor said she is the size of an average 15 month old. So, she might have to be the basketball star Bryan has always hoped for.
Brianna had a fun, small birthday at home this year. Alabama Gramma came down to see the new house and join in the festivities. Addison had lots of fun playing with Gramma while Mommy got ready for the party. Brianna was quite the trooper because we discovered later she probably had Roseola. She was in the fever stage at the party and broke out in a rash the next day. Woops!! And as promised a few weeks ago, here are the pictures from Brianna's First Birthday party.
