Getting Ready for Christmas

I just took a look at our blog and realized I hadn't posted any Christmas pictures yet! Wow! I'm in trouble! We had a busy and very blessed Christmas this year. Bryan's family came to visit and we had as many as 20 folks here at one time. Thankfully, our heater waited to break until two days after everyone left... shew! Ironically, it broke on the same morning the company we hired weeks before arrived to put in an entire new system... just in time to take advantage of the tax rebate.

Before all the mayhem that was the Irish Family Christmas began, Addison's school had a Christmas concert for the parents.

Then it was time to trim the tree. Daddy had LOTS of help getting that big ol' thing in the house! We lucked out and got a great tree... it was perfect! Lots of compliments from everyone.

While we were putting the tree up we got a special visit from Santa on a firetruck!!

With the tree decorated, it was time to make cookies! I expected Haylee and Addison to be the most interested and have the longest attention span but turns out we have a budding cookie decorator in Brianna! She had a blast helping Nana get things together and the big girls couldn't think of anything but running up to the playroom to dress up in princess dresses!

Tree was trimmed, cookies were decorated, stockings were hung, all that's missing is the family!
